This is a focused sprint service. It does not include ongoing application management, unlimited communication, complete college list development from scratch, or support extending beyond the fall application cycle.

In a 90-minute session I will walk through how need-based aid, institutional merit aid, and outside scholarships work differently and which are most relevant to your family's situation. You will leave with a personalized merit aid analysis, a curated list of outside scholarships matched to your student's specific background and qualifications, and a financial aid appeal framework you can use after admission.

Families who enroll in a Complete College Admissions Counseling package within 14 days of completing this service may apply the $450 fee as a credit toward that package.

• Pre-meeting review of student background, activities, academic context, and any existing essay materials
• Personal statement strategy and brainstorming session with the student
• Identification of 2 to 3 viable essay directions
• Personalized narrative angle, topic choice, and writing plan
• Review of one Common App personal statement or equivalent main essay
• Up to three rounds of written feedback on the personal statement
• Final review meeting or final submission review
• One parent check-in by email, if requested

This package supports one primary college essay. It does not include supplemental essays, full application management, college list development, recommendation strategy, ongoing deadline management, unlimited revisions, or ghostwriting. The student remains the author of all written work. Families who enroll in a Complete College Admissions Counseling package within 14 days of completing this service may apply the $1,250 fee as a credit toward that package.

The work begins the same way: understanding who the student is, identifying the right personal statement direction, and building a writing plan. From there, the supplemental essays are approached strategically, so each one shows a different dimension of the student without repeating the personal statement or overlapping across schools.

An application writing planning session maps the full essay set before writing begins. A final review checks the complete set for consistency, voice, and overlap before submission.

Before the meeting, I review whatever the family has submitted: grades, course history, test scores, activities, and any context that helps me understand where the student stands.

The 60-minute session covers academic profile and course rigor, grade trends and testing strategy, activities and positioning, college list direction based on fit and financial considerations, and what the next 60 to 90 days should look like.

I deliver a personalized written action plan. A follow-up meeting is included to review what has happened and address what has come up.

I review the list against the factors that determine whether a student thrives: campus size and culture, setting and what it means for the student's goals beyond the classroom, academic structure and how much independence the student is ready for, housing and social environment, extracurricular and leadership opportunities relative to the student's interests, and financial fit including net price and merit aid potential. The goal is a list where every school is one where the student is positioned to reach his or her potential.

This service reviews an existing list of up to 15 colleges. It does not include creating a complete list from scratch, essay support, application review, financial aid form completion, ongoing list revisions, or guarantees of admission, scholarships, or financial aid outcomes.
